Are you enjoying the Rugby World Cup at the moment? Did you know you can watch it live on a Tibus platform? We’ll explain how in this blog post.
Posted on 24 September 2015 -That’s right, you can enjoy the Rugby World Cup 2015 from the comfort of a Tibus platform. If you live in a UTV region, you can watch all the action from the RWC via the UTV Player, which is powered by a Tibus streaming platform.
The upshot of that is that you can watch live rugby anytime, anywhere on a device of your choosing during the Rugby World Cup. So, if you’re doing a bit of shopping and want to keep tabs on the Fiji match or (though we could never condone this sort of behaviour) need to keep up with a game during the working day, you can stream the games live.
We provide the live streaming and catchup technology for the UTV Player, which is available to television viewers in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
In fact, streaming television - both live and catchup services - is one of specialisms. If that’s a field that is of interest to your or you’re keen to do a bit more reading on some of the technical details about how we got about streaming broadcasts, please click here for further information.
If you’re not so interested in the details and technology, but you do like being able to watch rugby while you’re out and about, then you can do so by downloading the UTV Player app or by visiting player.u.tv.
And if you haven’t yet watched a Rugby World Cup match on your laptop, mobile or tablet, it’s try time, so to speak.
Let us know how you get on with your viewing experience.
