Tuesday 11th August 21.30 for up to 5 hours

BT have advised us that they will be removing all power to the Belfast Data Centre on night of Tuesday 11th August. This window is required for them to return to full UPS power following the original fire on 24th June.

Duration: 21.30 - 02.30

Affected services

  • Tibus Ultrafast and Connected Cities
  • Co-Located hosting customers (Belfast only)
  • Private Cloud and Dedicated Managed customers (Belfast only)
  • Shared and VPS hosting (Belfast only)
  • Email services will be interrupted between 10pm and 2am but will return to normal by 5am.

Customer services unaffected

  • Multi-site hosted customers
  • Customers in Dublin data centres
  • Customers in London data centres
  • Streaming and CDN

This will hopefully be the final hard outage required by BT. Our understanding is that this is the case.

We genuinely understand the impact that this type of work has on some of our customers. We fully apologise for the anxiety and disruption it causes.
