Smyth & Gibson match the quality of their web site to the quality of their shirts.

Smyth & Gibson have been hand-making luxury shirts for more than two decades. Based in the European capital of handmade shirts, this Northern Ireland based business has made over 100,000 luxury shirts.

Each handmade shirt has a 20 year construction guarantee, with the fabrics in the luxury shirts all twofold poplins, and buttons natural mother of pearl.

Smyth & Gibson determined in August 2007 that the quality of their web site should match the quality of their shirts. They commissioned Tibus to develop the new e-commerce site, launched in November, which is supported with the Hands On content management and order processing system.

Part of the challenge was in presenting the quality of the Smyth & Gibson product without the user being able to physically touch the garment, and a number of the latest web techniques were employed to achieve this.
