Making the Consumer Voice Heard

25th May 2007

The Consumer Council launches its new web site.

The Consumer Council is an independent consumer organisation set up by government in 1985, working to bring about change to benefit Northern Ireland's consumers. Its aim is to make the consumer voice heard and make it count.

Tibus has worked closely with the Consumer Council since 2000, and a new web site has just launched at http://www.consumercouncil.org.uk.

The site supports the Consumer Council in all aspects of its operations, which include running information and education campaigns, influencing the public and private sectors, undertaking research, and producing publications on some of the key issues affecting the Northern Ireland consumer:- Banking, Energy, Fuel Poverty, Financial Capability, Water Charges, Energy Market Opening and Transport.
