The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe commissioned Tibus to develop and implement an e-business strategy in support of its member networking and new member development programmes throughout Europe in January 2007.
Implementation has now started, and the first phase of SCAE's online strategy rollout can be seen at http://www.scae.com/, with a new web site, powered by the Tibus Hands On content management system.
Many of the world's leading coffee brands are involved, including Bewley's, Costa Coffee, Espresso Warehouse, Illy, Java Republic and Robert Roberts.
One of the key objectives of this strategy is to streamline member communications, and a full membership and event management engine is central to the member extranet. This enables SCAE to more effectively drive its programme of training, networking, exhibitions, workshops, and international supply-chain visits.
