Tibus Business Dial-Up service is designed for organisations that require highly reliable and cost-effective access to the Internet. It supports both ISDN & modem calls and comes with an unlimited amount of Technical Support included in the monthly subscription.

The Tibus Business Dial-Up service is particularly suited for businesses that do not utilise the Internet enough to justify Broadband Connectivity – but do require a business-grade Internet Connection. It is also a strong alternative for businesses that cannot have ADSL installed at their site due to their physical location.

It is based on an 0845 Dial-Up number, allowing businesses to access the Internet at anytime of the day for the price of a local call*.

Using Dial-Up as resilience for Business Broadband

ADSL and SDSL Broadband are strong technologies but like all connections services, they are limited in terms of their reliability. Problems with the national Broadband network can cause businesses difficulties, particularly where they last for more than a few moments.

Tibus offers a cost-effective, intelligent failover solution based on Broadband and Dial-Up. If the Broadband network is down for any time, users will seamlessly use the Business Dial-Up facility as an alternative connection, for the duration of the issue. Although Dial-Up is slower than ADSL, this resilience will allow businesses to send & receive critical email and access Internet-based services for the duration of the Broadband fault.

Dial-Up resilience requires suitable hardware and careful configuration to ensure that all services operate on Dial-Up smoothly and securely. Tibus can supply the necessary equipment (normally around £180) and complete the installation work for your business - either on site or remotely. Billing

Billing is done via Direct Debit at the rate of £10 per month. All prices exclude VAT.

Support 

Tibus Networks offers both unlimited e-mail support (support@tibus.com) and unlimited telephone-based support (028 9033 1122), allowing us to serve our clients in a manner that best suits them. This support is available from 9am to 5.30pm and is included within the service charge.

Individually tailored support packages can also be developed for clients for particularly complex or specific support requirements. Our lead time is typically 1 day.
