Managing Director

Gareth joined Tibus in 1997 as a Web Programmer, before quickly progressing to the positions of Senior Programmer, Director of Software Development and subsequently Managing Director.

A computer science graduate from Queen's University Belfast, Gareth's degree included a year of commercial experience with AIB Bank. Following graduation in 1994, he returned to AIB in Dublin, where he became a key member of the project team which developed Ireland's first online personal banking system, which launched in 1997.

During his time at Tibus he has worked with some of the largest blue chip organisations in Ireland and the UK including SPAR, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, Invest NI, Intertrade Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Northern Ireland Office, BBC, FAI and Irish FA.

He writes and lectures extensively on internet related matters, and occupies a regular column in Business Eye magazine in Northern Ireland, and Business Plus magazine in the Republic of Ireland.
